·         Responsible for monitoring, reporting and resolving issues related to network services including Enterprise, Ethernet, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and Transport. Also responsible for Tier 2 support for a 24 X7 Network Operations Center that is responsible for surveillance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of network systems. Performed on-call duties along with providing 2nd Level Escalation support to the NOC staff. Work with Transport Engineers to validate new system’s commissioning and documentation, and also supported Circuit Designers in turn-up of new circuits and Facilities. Submit MOPs in support of scheduled maintenance and work with field technicians and equipment vendors to resolve broke / fix and also firmware upgrades.  Supported network systems including DWDM and CWDM. Provide training for new NOC technicians, Deployment Engineer, & Circuit Designers. Managed special assigned projects such as manufactures firmware upgrades and deployment of new technologies. ·         Responsible for evaluating a variety of equipment and facilities options to determine best possible routes for circuit order on DukeNet infrastructure.  Worked with Network Operations, Order Delivery and Deployment Engineers to design facilities and ensure that equipment is deployed in timely manner and meet customer expectations. Coordinate with customers and other telecom providers to meet Firm Order Commitment (FOC).
